I'm trying out a new Spam Filter / Captcha program provided by Mallom.com. If you have troubles posting or doing something on this here site, let me know and I'll see what I can do about it.
Frankly, the reCaptcha module hasn't been keeping comment spam away, and it's clearly something wrong with either the module or the reCaptcha service itself. About half of the spam posts in any given 24 hour period were directing traffic to reCaptcha.org. Unless it's some kind of freaky DDOS thing, I can't see what the point would be in spamming my site with crappy links to a Captcha site. I kind of never really liked the way the Captcha and reCaptcha Modules worked in Drupal anyway, so I'm happy to try out something new. We'll see how it works, right?
In the interim, I also thought you'd like to know tat I have a hard time typeing "Mollom" because I want to keep typing "Mallon," who was obviously Link's Girlfriend in Link to the Past for the GameBoy.
